The Válka winery still manages the Turbovická vineyards in the village of Skuhrov in Mělník, where on the south-western slope of the Elbe river at an altitude of 220 m above sea level and on an area of 1.7 ha Tramín red thrives, and on 0.71 ha golden heads of Moravian Muscat are nurtured. The mild climate and soil based on low-skeletal pararenzines and calcareous-clay sandstones guarantee the roundness and delicacy of the wine in the glass while preserving its fruity character.
