A stunning vintage, probably the best growing season since 2009
With the vines budding on a long-term average and flowering rapidly without any interruptions, the ideal conditions have been created to produce an exceptional vintage. Only the summer rainfall has been falling. Thanks to the deep rooting of the vines, which have an average age of 40 years or more, the alternative water supply from the groundwater always provided sufficient water. When the weather turned for the better, the ripening process accelerated rapidly. The perfectly ripe, golden-yellow, healthy grapes were the result of meticulous manual work that allowed us to bring in an excellent vintage at the end of October.
