Château Fredignac
For four generations, the vines of Château Frédignac have been influenced by the Gironde estuary in this special climate. In 1919, Jean-Marie L'AMOULLER, a Breton in Blaye, fell in love with the region and the young Blayaise. This is where the history of the Château Frédignac vineyard begins.
Continuing his development, Michel L'AMOULLER left the CARS Wine Cooperative in 1984 to launch the first vintage of Château Frédignac in the Côtes de Blaye appellation.
In 2010, the farm was converted to organic farming. In addition to better respecting nature and the environment, this approach develops the biological diversity of organisms living in the soil and in the vineyards. Since 2009 they have been feeding live soil minerals without chemical weed control and using green manure between the rows. Combined with know-how, the vines offer wonderful grapes that allow you to obtain all the blends that will satisfy all your senses.
