Colour: dark ruby.

Nose: light animal notes with touches of noble leather, which then develop into notes of red and black fruit.

The palate is dry and juicy with a fruity texture. The tannins are smooth and elegant.

Pairing: it pairs well with grilled beef steaks, which can be served with quality French mustards, salad with balsamic reduction and fresh French baguette with olive oil. Prepare the lamb by slow roasting it with root vegetables, rosemary and thyme.

Ideal serving temperature: 18-20 °C. A suitable glass is a large chalice with sufficient oxidation surface. We recommend decanting the wine before serving, or letting it breathe for a longer time in an open bottle.

Château Puy Boyrein red wine is recommended for consumption from the 3rd year of age. The wine can be stored in your cellar for 7-9 years.
