Grape variety: Chardonnay Vineyard size: 20 hectares Soil: Planted with Chardonnay vines for the past twenty years by winegrowers in love with this variety, the 20-hectare vineyard features schist and sandstone soil that warms up quickly and is conducive to excellent ripening. Grape growing and winemaking are done sustainably according to Terra Vitis specifications.
Winemaking techniques: Grapes are picked when fully ripped. Skin contact (20% of the crop). Gentle pressing and fermentation at moderate temperatures locks in the grapes' aromatic potential.
Ageing: Aged on the lees for 6 months before bottling.
Tasting notes: Brilliant pale golden colour. Elegant, refined, and intense nose of fresh fruit (pear, peach), flowers, and a hint of caramel. Round and easy-to-drink, with beautiful balance. Fresh, round aftertaste with hints of white fruit and citrus.
Food & Wine Pairing: Served chilled (8-10°C), this wine is ideal as an aperitif or with fish and shellfish dishes, white meats, and cheese (especially goat's cheese).
