The grapes are destemmed and soft pressed. The fermentation is controlled into steel tanks. We decant basic vintage wine Valpolicella on fresh bunches after Amarone’s fermentation process. The wine is finally aged for 18 months, more or less, in oak barrels.
Color: brilliant and intense red ruby color, almost garnet.
Aroma: very complex bouquet, juicy red fruits aromas, enriched by woody and spicy notes, like tobacco and black pepper.
Taste: a full-bodied wine, persistent but also balanced and elegant, like velvet. A gentle wine with sweet fruity notes, soft and dry taste.
Food pairings: nice matching with grilled, roasted red meat and game, black truffles and medium seasoned cheeses.
